Good products are created by people, not factories

Designing kitchen tools since 2001

Designed around the job

Every tool starts with a task, not a shape — shaped for the moment you will actually use it.

Built to last

We choose materials for durability, not for a good first impression on a shelf.

Why we make what we make

Tools that earn their place

From our kitchen to yours

Cutting boards

It starts with the task, not the shape

Design

Every Deiss tool begins with a job someone actually does: grating a whole block of parmesan, peeling a bag of potatoes, getting a roast off the heat at the right moment. We work backwards from that moment — how the tool sits in the hand after two minutes rather than two seconds, whether it cleans without a brush, whether it earns its place in a crowded drawer.

Kitchen utensils

Tested in kitchens, not showrooms

Testing

A tool can perform well in a demonstration and still be tiring to use for a family meal. We test through repetition — the same task, done the way people really do it — and change the things that only show up after the twentieth pass. Most of our revisions come from that stage rather than from the drawing.

Graters and peelers

Still working in five years

Materials

We choose stainless steel, silicone and reinforced plastics for how they hold up, not for how they look on a shelf in week one. Blades stay sharp, handles keep their grip, and nothing is designed to be replaced on a schedule. Every product carries a warranty you can register in a couple of minutes.
